Who's Idea Was 'Uncle Omar?'

He mighta coulda possibly have worked HAD he been a one-show character. But there is nothing redeeming about this character. I LOVE this show...it's well written and funny. But Uncle Omar was a bad idea. No chemistry at all with Bobbi...I can't see why the writers/producers/whoever tried to push them together so often.

Outside of Uncle Omar, I For Your Love was really a good show.

Things got murky toward the end. I don't recall the character at all. I'm guessing I missed the last few episodes. All the more reason for a dvd!

You are right. The show jumped the shark with the Uncle Omar bit. But there was no one who could replace Edafe Blackmon, or whatever his real name is. He made the Reggie character so funny! Oh my goodness! And it did not hurt one bit that he was fine. So, when he decided to leave the show, I knew it was over. Now, I selectively enjoy the re-runs on TvOne.

I missed Reggie, though I did find Uncle Omar kind of funny.
