I love the Whammy!

I don't think I even remember this show from its first run; but the reruns are currently airing on BuzzR TV (the all-old-quiz-shows network), and the Whammy grabbed me immediately. I love the fact that it adds a sadistic twist to a game show. When a contestant loses all his money, this little gremlin, demon or whatever it's supposed to be not only takes their money, but mocks them as well! Genius! It's as if WHEEL OF FORTUNE had a pop-up of Nelson Muntz from THE SIMPSONS who shouts "HA HA!" every time the wheel lands on "Bankrupt."
