Anyone know who did the voice of the Whammy?

The voice was done by 'Savage' Steve Holland, who better slightly better known as part producer of the Sabrina animated series in the late '90s that is part of the DIC package.

For a while, I thought that the Whammy's voice somehow reminded me of Elmo.
SIMILARITIES - both are red and look cute
DIFFERENCE - One takes away your money, one takes away the logic of a certain education show

Actually, the voice was done by the show's creator Bill Carruthers. "Savage" Steve Holland designed the thing.

I know this is an old post, but having just caught up with PYL for the first time since it ran, I couldn't believe how similar both characters were. Not only does he resemble Elmo in some of the animations, the Whammy even has the exact same laugh.
