Just Wondering

Why does no one kiss on the mouth in these programmes? Ian and Lisa had several emotional reunions and even love scenes, but they never kiss. For the most part, it was never a big deal, but there are a couple of moments where a kiss is conspicuous by its absence.

I've noticed this on other shows with elements of comedy, is there a thing here?
