I loved this show... it was funny and scary and frustrating and sad... all bundled together. At times it was hard to watch because some of the moments felt so real.
Especially crushing is the last episode of the series that leaves the situation forever hanging out on a very fragile limb...
Have the writers ever mentioned what their plans were if the series had continued?
I never heard of any official word, but I'm curious to know what (if anything) they had planned.
I just finished the series and I feel that Lisa would have forced her father to drop it (she had already said that she would choose Ian over him) and they would have stayed in the village and eventually been accepted.
I liked that the sister (Helen) was finally happy. Oddly enough, I also wish that Ian had reshot her photos because Emma Chambers is actually quite striking in her own way.
Any thoughts?
