This show is kind of gross

I understand it's a low budget community show, but, it's just gross to have a main character wake up and go to sleep everyday with the same dingy clothes and a big, dirty, dingy looking couch everyday.

It just looks nasty, especially when she cleans, she puts all of her junk under and behind the pillows. It's just dingy, dirty looking, and messy. This isn't something I want my kids to learn, I want them to wash everyday and clean up the right way.

I know it's just a show, but, it should be more like the doodle bops, where even though they wear the same clothing, they least it look clean and they didn't just literally get out of bed!

I watched the show religiously when I was younger (it started in 1993) and I am now a 21 year old, clean, organized and well educated man.

The thing you need to realize is that kids see it as comedic relief (funny) and don't really pay attention to it as much as they do in comparison with the true values of the show, the kind characters and polite storyline.

In my opinion, I turned out well not due to the shows I was watching, but due to proper parenting. They didn't leave it to the TV to raise me right, they knew as kids we don't always come across the perfect things in life and thus never expected the TV to be perfect either.

Maybe you should talk to your child more often and guide him. Teach him cleanliness, how to be organized and do it through soft repetition. It's your job, not the TV's.

Wow, I'm a 21 year old childless man who's watched The Big Comfy Couch repeatedly and I know how to use common sense. Amazing.

I think Loonette needs a make-over. She can get rid of the clown outfit and replace it with a pimped out princess dress. Also, she could go out of her way to empty the entire couch and grab a portable carpet shampooer from the closet so she can get all the stains out (cushions included).
