I saw it completely differently. The daughter wasn't supposed to be in the room. That's why the mom asks her where she came from when she interupted them. I don't remember any groping of the girls. And the little girls in their underwear, etc, was shot very innocently.

The only thing the little girl would have actually seen were Kate Winslet's breasts, which is hardly offensive. Women breast-feed, and she's going to have them some day, what the hell does it matter?

There was no groping of little girls, it's called tickling.
There's a difference between being picked up and tickled, and being molested.

And up-skirt shots?
They're children, it hardly matters. Pretty much every beach you go to in summer will have little girls runnig around half-naked.
It's terrible that we live in such a world that people are disgusted by a pair of children's underwear, viewing it as pornography.

Have you even seen any kiddy porn before, if that's what you think it is? This is not porn of any kind.
According to the storyline, the mother had sex before the girl turned up. I didn't see any groping. People see 'up' little girls' skirts all the time. You can't help but do that with the way they sit and lie down. Even so, what's the issue? They have panties on - no big deal there - no different to a girl wearing a swimsuit.
Why do people have to make such a fuss about movies that have kids in them?

I think what's disgusting is how some people can turn something totally innocent into something pornographic. If you're subconsciously looking for kiddie porn, chances are, you will turn everything you see into possible kiddie porn, but that certainly wasn't what I saw at all when I viewed this film.

I did not see it that way...children are innocently running around in their undies.....Morocco is HOT so that is one reason why they were doing that but regardless....westerners are so uptight about sex and nudity it is ridiculous. Kids from day one pop in on their parents unexpectadly.....all the time I thought in the movie she handled it well not making the child feel like she did anything wrong.....
