Series 2 and 3 on DVD in U.S.

I keep looking for Series 2 and 3 in US format and see no sign of them coming. Does anyone have any idea if they will eventually be released? Or if Series I didn't sell well enough. I hate being left up in the air!!!

Just read your post today and regretably I think that a Region 1 release of "Wish Me Luck" seems rather unlikely. The series is now available as a European Region 2 release from Network DVD, a company whom do not offer any of their titles in other regional formats.

Sorry if this is negative news for a fellow fan of this classic series, all I can suggest is it might be, if you are able, worth getting a multi-region player.

I would keep trying Amazon, Ebay and other various seller websites. Sometimes the best we (USA viewers) can find are old VHS copies. Hope this helps.

I would have to agree with the person who suggested a multi-region dvd player or bettery yet search on the internet for instructions on how to unlock your dvd player. I have one player I could unlock, but I also have one I can't seem to unlock.

And believe me, if you are a fan of British drama, or anything really, an unlocked dvd player is a must. You will open yourself to so much more options, and you won't have to wait what often seems to be years for something that is already relaesed in the UK.

So basically buy a cheap region 2 dvd, find out how to unlock your dvd player, and see if the dvd works.

I just got season 2 through Netflix. they will probably have 3 one of these days.

According to Wikipedia Series 2 was released for U.S. (Region 1) players on 25 Jan. 2011 by Acorn Media. The article did not mention when Series 3 will be released for the U.S. I am going to try the suggestion to unlock my BluRay/DVD player. Also, I do not know if the BD/DVD drives in our computers can play regions other than #1 for the U.S. That's worth a google effort.

I found the series on my mailout Blockbuster account. Blockbuster has both Series 1 & 2. I hope this helps.

Seasons 1, 2, and 3 are available at Costco for $25 each.

If you download VLC media player (it's FREE!), you will be able to watch any DVD from any region. You load the software and then open the disc through the software. Do not open it directly through the computer's own software.

All 3 seasons are available on Netflix and, starting with season 2, they have captioning.

Does the story end with series 3 or did it get cancelled open-ended?
