If our teams progress then we will continue predicting. When the World Cup final come we will all predict the score, regardless of who is in the compitition.

You must get in your prediction at least a day before the game. There is no need to predict the scorers only the score.

I am ok now but I am still seething at the pathetic referee. How can we beat Barcelona with 10 men. I am not happy but at the same time I am proud of my team. Well said Chris the best team lost and Barca only produced brilliance in the last 15 mins to win. We are unlucky and we will improve as we have a young team.

I am fuc king estatic my fav player (and my lookalike) Thierry Henry is staying. I celebrated last nite and I will celebrate tonite as well. Robert Pires is staying hopefully because Thierry has asked he get a two year contract. Player power but Robert Pires I think he is still an important player. Chris you are in my good books mate he is the best player in the world better than Shevchenko. Jose Mourinho was asked what he thought of Thierry staying on and he had a face like thunder. He knows we have the best player in the world. This is better than winnimg the CL.

I will see if the rules are ok as they are but they should be. This is not a compitition just predictions.

Arsenal are close to buying Tomas Rosicky for Borussia Dortmund. He can play anywhere in midfield and he is a decent player. Sol Campbell might be joining Fenebarce as well. The media are saying 8million.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy has said he expects to leave Man United. He hasn't spoken to Sir Alex since the game against Charlton. Ruud has been linked to Chelsea with Eidur Gudjohnson going to other way.

Well Rosicky is a Gooner. Sol Campbell is thinking of leaving as well. I am not bothered thou because we could get a lot of money for him. Ashley Cole is staying as well. He said he might stay after all. I hope so. We need all of our best players to stay so we can improve on what we have.

Hi Chris

Roberto Carlos is thinking of joining Chelsea. They have offered him a long contract. He is 33 they are mad. Mind you they have more money than sense. Shevchenko is making a decision shortly as well regarding AC Milan.

Well Real Madrid have a great history and a lot of players join them because of that yeah. The thing is they haven't won anything for 3 years. The players they have now only there to pick up a wage, they have no fighters at all. This includes Beckham I am afraid. Chelsea are simply buying a history. Only players I like at Chelsea are the English players, Makalele and Gallas. These are honest players, the rest are there again to pick up a wage. So I dunno Chris, both clubs have so much in common yet they don't really.

Hes going mate they players you mentioned like Stam and Beckham has similar exits. The reason stam left was because of his book slagging off some of the players. Beckham was out because Sir Alex thought he was getting bigger than the club (celebrity).

Hey no problem Chris, I am starting my driving shortly so I have a lot on my plate at the mo as well. I think I am a strong person as well. Worrying and stressing out will mentally strain you so make sure you have time to relax. Think of the World Cup coming up!

I am gutted Bobby left. He is a legend and I will never forget the 2001/02 season he was awesome. Yep Roberto Carlos is wanted and Shevchenko is going to make a decision tomorrow.

Bloody hell, England lost 2-1 to ten men Belarus! Robert Green is out with a groin injury and Carragher and Hargreaves have been terrible. Aaron Lennon and Theo Walcott impressed.

What a busy wknd for footie. It looks like Shevchenko is joining Chelsea for 35million. I rate him highly and I know you both think he is not that great but he is the kind of player who will be quiet for most of the game then he can produce brilliance if he is given space.

Well what an encoraging win eh lads the win against Jamaica. Peter Crouch I am liking him more. He is proving his critics wrong and his work ethic is not noticed at all. He creates space and scores goals. I watched the match and I was very happy and I was thinking we can win the World Cup. Did you watch the match and what do you think? This has to be the best team for our generation I think do you agree? Weve every reason to believe England will win the World Cup. I think Italy will do well Chris have you got your Italy shirt?

I wouldn't worry about Man United not buying no players Simon. The summer isn't over and there are plenty of footie players who would join your team trust me. There are a few players Sir Alex has lined up. Chris yeah I agree if Van Nistelrooy leaves then you would need to replace him and another thing is the World Cup will increase the value of players. I heard Chelsea have paid you compensation for Mikel. What do you think of the situation lads?

Chris thats my plan as well. The thing is I hve different groups of mates so I have to decide which group to watch the games with. Its all about the greatest cup of the all, the World Cup and the players left today. Peter Crouch is all over the papers today and rightly so. He has more than earned his right to play. italy will have a good tournament Chris and I know they have had a lot of disappointments eg USA 94 and Euro 2000 (you deserved to win.)

Chris I am wearing my France shirt when they play, I am not supporting them I am just supporting the man Thierry. I also bought the England home and away shirt to wear. I bought the flag as well. I won't be able to flamin sleep Fri nite because I will be so nervous.

Well Italy have been just as unlucky in major tournaments as England. I hope we can correct this don't you agree? Those tournaments yeah England were unlucky at Mexico 86 (hand of god), Italia 90, Euro 96, France 98 and Korea Japan 02.

The World Cup has finally started. Good win for Germany and Ecuador and Trinidad and Tobago played well to get a decent draw. Holland look decent and Iran are better than I thought. I watched the England match and I was happy to see us win but the win wasn't good. We sat back after we scored. I know the heat was getting to the players but at least we won anyway. we just need to beat Trinidad and Tobago then we are through.

What I am going to do lads is record all of the predictions and then create a league table. I will do an update on the rules. That is ok if you want to change teams Simon but you cannot change your team again as the world cup has started. We must stick with the teams we have chosen otherwise it will confuse things.

Well Simon you know my favourite car is the Audi TT. I don't have a favourite car company thou. I dont know anything about cars at all. My interests are football and music.

Good win for Italy Chris. I thought Toni had a decent game. I was glad to see the game in the evening. Ghana played well. Michael Essien is by far their best player. Did you have a few beers to celebrate then mate? I must say thou Czech Rep will be a hard match. Bad luck simon, USA losing to Czech Rep. Rosicky was awesome. France play tomorrow so I have to predict the score. The league table I am not creating until after the WC because I haven't the time. I will create some rules on how the table will be.

Well England should win comfortably and go through. Hey don't worry Simon I know you love the USA but I am not sure they can qualify to the next stage. What a disappointing day for the World Cup. I listened to the South Korea Togo match and then the France switzerland match. Both were slow and boring as hell. I expected France to beat Switzerland but the thing is we have the players but the coach chooses experience over youth. It is about the oldies are out and the new generation are in. Zidane was a world class player in his prime. He is past it now and the same goes for Vieira. I watched Brazil Croatia and Croatia deserved a point. Well Brazil were nervous and they were trying to get an early goal. Kaka's goal was gud and Cafu still looks gud for his age but Brazil were pretty average.

I agree Brazil were bad and Ronaldo wasn't in the game that much. He has put on weight and he looks like he has ran more coming out on the pitch than in the match. He is out of shape and he should be shipped to the bench for the next game. I cannot see them retaining the WC no way. Kaka was good yeah and he might turn out to be their star player.

I didn't watch the Spain match but what was the match like? I am watching Germany play Poland the match is boring as hell.i am gutted I miised the best game of the world Cup so far which is Spain. Ukraine didnt have a chance and Shevchenko was quiet because he was isolated.

I know England were unconvincing but we got the win and we are through. I was in the pub screaming at the players especially crouch when he missed the chance whe he tried the scissor kick. He is no Ronaldinho and I was mad at him.. He scored though and I am happy because Owen is not match fit. I am disappointed with Owen actually. He has said he will not change the way he plays. Selfish. He stays in the box and he does not help out defensively! He should look at Thierry Henry if he needs proof strikers can help out and play deep when needed. I blame Freddie shephard saying the whole of the Geordie nation is happy with the way he plays.

I think Argentina are favourites, Spain were good but they seem to fade away all the time. Argentina are proven winners. Ghana had a great wwin yesterday and the USA played well (sorry Chris are you gutted)?

We definitely had a bad nite and I am unhappy with our defence. we won the group but I am unhappy with our performances and we need to improve if we have a chance of winning thou. Michael Owen has gone asnd we have just two experienced strikers. And a kid as well. What was Sven thinking. Lucky we can score goals from midfield.

Chris we won't play the 4-5-1 formation. One of our players, ie Joe Cole, steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Aaron Lennon can be used as a second striker. Come on Chris have belief we know England can play better and we will. I am unhappy thou and if we don't improve then we ae definitelt following owen.

I think you can beat the Czech Republic mate. They struggled and they miss Koller. The match tonite Argentina holland was pathetic. Boring as hell. Chris did you see the Mexico Portugal match? Apparently a player missed a pen and another was sent off?

Well Italy are thru and what a match. I think you play Australia in the next round. I didn't see the match but I saw the goals on my fone. I am on 3 and they are showing all the goals free mate.

I was watching the croatia Australia game and Graham Poll made a mistake in brandashing three yellow cards then sending off the player. The media won't let it go. I was watching both games at the same time the other being the Brazil Japan game. The croatia Australia game was gud thou.

What a win and I am relieved we won. We were terrible and thanks to Beckham we were out of jail. I am not confident we can win in the quarter finals. We are not convincing thou!

Chris what a win for Italy. I didn't watch but to see them get a penalty at the 90th minute you must've been happy. Did you watch it mate? What was the game like?

The match last nite was bad tempered yeah and Luis Figo deserved to go off as well. The ref had no control of the game and to see him send off four players was a disgrace. At least when we play Portugal we won't have to face Costinha and Deco. Ronaldo is injured as well. I think we can beat them. I think England will raise their game. we have to otherwise we will lose.

I am not sure about the teams who are being investigated. It is disgusting and I remember when Serie A was the top footie league in the world. Relegation could affect the teams you mention but it is a shame mate.
