I wish I could watch it...

Even though I've read many users' opinions that say the TV serie is quite dissapointing and doesn't have much to do with the original books (which I simply adore and are actually my favourite books), I wish the serie was aired, at least once, here in Spain, so I could check and have my own opinion. I know it's almost imposible that this serie arrives to Spain, as the popular books here were Anne ones, and few people have heard about Emily, so I don't have many expectations. Howevere, I would settle even with a copy in English, if it could be got from the Internet, but I've looked for it and haven't found anything. So I'll just have to wait, until it is aired here (if it is, and probably won't), or at least, available on the Internet or in DVD.

I got to watch the first season when it aired in Canada- I'm from the US but our satelite had a Canadian station. I think the first season stayed true to the books (which I love too)! I did see last episode but at the time I had no clue it was the last episode. I really wish it would come to dvd as the vhs is hard to find.

I have seen many of the episodes here in Canada and thought they were very well made, if not a little on the dark and dreary side (unlike Anne) - however, they are very atmospheric in their depiction of the land and its' stories. Born and raised in Prince Edward Island (my cousin Gordie was "carpenter's helper" on Emily) I have always enjoyed the series. Anything I can help you with, would be my pleasure.
