How was 'Ilse' pronounced on this show?
I have never seen this show, but I love the books. I was wondering how Ilse's name was pronounced on the show.

share^On the show, it was definately Il-suh. There was no Il-see.
And Ilse is simply a variant of Ilsa and is pronounced the same. It's a pet form of Elizabeth, though mostly German speakers use it.
Shouldn't her name be pronounced Ill-seh??? At least that's how I've always pronounced it... they also pronounce it like that in the anime series ^^
