I'm close to stopping this series

I'm reading the book right now and it's a pretty interesting book so far. You grow to like the characters and sympathize with them and the troubles that they are going through helps you understand their personalities. Yes, they can be annoying sometimes, but living the life they are living might make them that way.

The way Montgomery writes her characters are interesting and from the beginning of this show, it showed promise but then ended up becoming full of darkness. Like Elizabeth trying to get rid of Emily's only cat that she has grown attached to (if I remember correctly, she has one cat in the series), Ilse is more unreasonably bratty than in the book, Aunt Laura is a whiny little mouse, a lot of the characters aren't faithful to the book.

This series just seems soooo boring. I think I'll try more of it but I'm ready to just stop it. I probably shouldn't have continued on watching it after watching it and displeased with the first episode like 4 or 5 years ago.
