A fav war movie of mine,emotional,brutal,well produced.lingers even after it is ended.the fear of war showed in all actors involved.from the language to the portrayal of fear fighting showed even during world war 2.dread to think what many if not all went through during world war one.more face on for many poor souls.

Yep. To me this belongs in the same subcategory of war films as Fury and, to some degree, Lone Survivor. The scope is very focused and they're all particularly brutal in their depiction of war.
