The opening narration

Big miss there: the narrator says that in the fall of 1944, the war has been on for 4 years.

Hmmm...the war started in 1939, with is 5 years earlier. USA entered the war at the end of 1941, which was 3 years earlier. I can't believe that nobody in the film production did the math on that one; it's pretty shoddy for an otherwise well made effort.
