What's up with episode 4 here on IMDb?

This series is 3 eps, right?

reply

I recorded this movie on Encore when hurricane Sandy hit, and they said that it was a 3 part series. But as it played out into the fourth hr, they said part 4.....I was confused about that myself.

reply

It was definitely 3 when it aired. Maybe it's been split up in different ways since then.

The copy I have is in two parts, I just flip the disk over to get to the next part.

its original broadcast was a two part, two evening miniseries

reply

No, it was a three-part. I'll have to rewatch it again because I can't remember how the first night ended but the second night ended with Mike finding out who Linoge really was & Linoge calling Ralphie into the closet and the third one ended with Linoge rubbing it into Mike's face that he has Ralphie now. Sunday was the first night, Monday the second and I think Tuesday was the third, it could've been Wednesday though.

That's editing. Dead Man's Walk was also only three episodes, yet it's split on two disks.

I agree with koffeenkream. When it was originally broadcast it was in three parts. I remember there were a few days in between part 2 and 3 and it was annoying.

I remember watching this as a teenager, and it was so good that it stuck on my mind forever. I had rented without knowing anything about it, even though it was 2 VHS tapes. Only now, some 15 years later, I find out it was actually a TV mini-series.

I'm surprised nobody turned it into a movie yet. It is much, much better than 90% of the 1 million stories Stephen King wrote.
