I wonder what happened to Katrina Withers

She was the only one who actually killed another one of the residents (even though she was under the influence of Linoge at the time). She's never mentioned again after the children touch Linoge's cane and collapse. I could be wrong, but I don't remember seeing her in the town hall meeting. I'm sure she was there somewhere, but as she didn't have any lines, I don't remember seeing her. After Linoge leaves, do you think the residents never mention what she did to anyone "off Island"? She is one of the characters I would have liked to have seen have her story concluded in Mike's voiceover epilogue.

In a black humor moment, I came up with the idea of the residents of Little Tall Island blaming the murders on poor Kat. We KNOW she killed Billy, but there were at least two other bludgeoned bodies (Mrs. Clarendon and Floyd the Fireman), plus the drowned creepy old lady to explain. If the residents wanted to, they COULD have blamed it all on poor Kat. They could make their "official" story be SHE bludgeoned Mrs. Clarendon, drowned creepy old lady in the lady's bathroom at the Town Hall, axed the fireman, and even lured the other two out. . . . . if enough of the residents stuck to the story, poor Kat would be up the creek (or, in this case, The Reach) without a paddle!

On a side note, did anyone else find it odd parents let Katrina watch their kids only a few hours AFTER SHE HAD KILLED HER BOYFRIEND?!?!?! Yes, she was under Linoge's spell at the time, but, at the very least, it shows she COULD BECOME VIOLENT! I know I would have NEVER let her watch my kid after that, much less only HOURS after. "You've just bashed your boyfriend to death. Let's let you take a nap and then would you watch my kid?" If my kid were like Donny Beals, I might consider it. . . . . but I really found that to be strange. . . . .
