Good for its genre

My mom's a big fan of the Hallmark-style movie, so I've seen a number of them. Formulaic and not too surprising, yeah. This one's pretty enjoyable though. Ann Jillian's really good here. Robert Hays is so affable. Jack Palance is gruff fun as usual and Ashley Gorrell is quite charming. I'll say it ... I liked it!

I love this one. We watch it every year and really enjoy it.

its terrible how this common soap opera like movie is so widely released and easy to find compared to jack palance other christmas movie from around the same time "ebenezer" which is hardly accessible, where palance gives the most intense convincing portrayal of scrooge in an original movie and its my favorite christmas carol version by far, i gave this another chance this christmas after dozing through it a few years ago and i still just can't get hooked on it, adding to that palance hasn't even got the main role here, those have gone to people i've never heard of before, anyway people seem to like it so i guess i'll give it a third shot... i'll be home for christmas.

come wander with me,
on a path out of this messed up place,
heading in the wrong direction everyday,
find a world of our own,
turn our backs from the madness that is going on,
come wander with me,
some peaceful place out in the green,
where join me for a dream,
come wander with me.
