Commentary on DVD

The commentary was dissapointing. There was only commentary on two episodes (1 &3)I am not sure why Don Mckellar could not have done commentary on every episode, Don seemed to just loose interest in it. The commentary was a little unorganized but was interesting.

I haven't really seen any positive comments on the Twitch City commentaries, so I'd like to add mine. The commentary on the first episode was interesting - now I can count the Twitch City and NewsRadio commentaries among the only ones that I'd consider rewatching. Don McKellar knew what he was talking about and kept talking throughout the episode. Daniel MacIvor added to it over the phone; he had a lot to say as well, then there was an interesting call with Mark McKinney, and finally the answering machine calls to Molly Parker and Callum Keith Rennie :-)

Also, two commentaries is two more than most Canadian shows on DVD get. For someone who usually doesn't care for extras (they're often boring or have too much ass-kissing), these were a nice surprise.

While I agree that those specific commentaries are nice (I especially enjoyed the Brucio gossip, being a Kids in the Hall fan and finding the show through them), I was confused bye one thing. Don McKellar honestly seemed to want to do more commentaries. He talked about sitting down and doing them for hours so people could call him back. So, I want to know what happened along those lines. Why did he stop if he obviously planned to go on longer?

By the way, I totally agree. The NewsRadio commentaries are amazingly funny. You should check out the Invader Zim ones. They rate 2nd on my list, after NewsRadio and before LOTR.
