if i am correct

i have been trying to find this film for quite some time. If this is the movie I am thinking about I do remember seeing it on the Sci-Fi channel when they did show anime on saturday mornings. Did this film have a town that had a curfew for all citizens to be indoors at a certain time? Did this film also have a huge battle at the end? If anyone can help please post or let me know what film I may be talking about.
