Dying for an adaptation of Loop?

I mean, I know...it probably won't ever happen. But jeez, I just really don't get why Spiral was discarded. The book was great, the movie could have been made better, but it was actually pretty good! It actually fits better in with the story than Ring 2, it has relevance to the outcoming of the plot. I wish they would just make a Loop for those of us that want the real story continued, the way it was originally meant by Suzuki...those who prefer the "replacement" can have that as their continuation, but personally, I would like to see the storyline play out the way it was intended.

Does anyone else agree?
