Is this the best storyline?

Hey guys,I've always loved Fallout 2,and haven't played the third part yet.
I'm just wondering, which Fallout has the best storyline?I liked the storyline in F2,but somehow, after seeing the intro to Fallout 1 on YouTube,I feel it might be somehow the best.
Am I right?
I am planning to download it soon.

Fallout 1 had a certain charm to it. I will always miss the feeling I had playing it for the first time. It was so much better than anything else similar at the time.

Story-wise, I think all three are too different to compare.

Are you going to pull those pistols or whistle "Dixie"?

I'm not sure about the best, but I'm sure about the worst - Fallout 3.
Story-wise, Fallout 1 might be a bit better in certain areas, like how I find conversation with the Master much more engaging than conversation with the president in F2. I do play Fallout 1 less, but not cause of the story, it's just much shorter and easier, hence less replayable. Yet it's a MUST PLAY if you liked Fallout 2.

Actually, that's exactly what I was thinking too.
The Master/mutants storyline-in fact,in Fallout 2,it was the story of Marcus, mutant sheriff of Broken Hills, that was very interesting. As he said,"The master just wanted for everyone to see things his way...".
Enclave was alright as the antagonistic organisation, but I always thought the President to be somehow funny-a caricature of sorts xD.And the opening narration to the Fallout 2-it just sounded awesome about the original Vault Dweller.
Just got my hands on the game, going to install it.
Thnx for all the info guys.We gotta make sure that this old game is never forgotten :)
