I hadn't seen this film in years but just happened to add it to my Netflix list because I'm on a Russell Crowe kick. Man he looked really sexy in this movie, with the long hair and the beard. Even with all of the bulky parkas and hats, he looked good. I don't know what it is about him because there are some that think he isn't really good looking, but he just really does it for me in some of his roles. All of the snow and cold weather made me want to curl up with John Biebe by the fire in this one.

Thanks, I'll have to add it to my Blockbuster Online Queue. I watched A Good Year recently and he looked "okay." I think he is hottest in Proof of Life, actually. I totally wanted Meg Ryan to leave her husband for him (kind of like in real life!)

Yeah, RC really looks GOOD in "Proof of Life." I wasn't too impressed with the movie, although it's pretty good, but he looks so good...and that VOICE, ohmigod, that VOICE! Sexiest male voice on the planet!

I loved that he had the chance to play an Australian in Proof of Life and use his natural speaking voice - I love hearing his normal accent. Yeah, in certain roles, and when he was a bit younger, it's surprising to see what a kind of sweet face he has. I definitely like it when his hair's a bit longer, too.

It's the eyes. I love him as I know the movie will be great as he does only the best movies. In all his movies, I don't care if he is thin. Most of the men in movies are too thin as are the women....Master and Commander shows him at his best.

Some guys can really pull off a beard, and Russell is one of them. Sometimes I think he looks better with the scruff (well .. neat, trimmed scruff) than clean-shaven.

I agree! He looks best with long hair or facial hair. I first noticed him when flipping channels one night and came upon The Quick and the Dead. Hello!
