Movie anyone?
With the apparently good response towards pirates of the Caribbean, shouldn't lucasfilms try making a movie out of this great series?
shareLol----that would be a great idea, but even if they have completely different story lines, it MAY be hailed as a rip off.
It would be well cool, but as long as it stayed true to the game. I think Julia Sawalaha (I bet I've spelt the name wrong, but she's Saffy in Ab Fab and was Lydia in Pride and Predjudice) as Elaine, Brian Blessed as LeChuck, and Hugh Grant (though I have a feeling there is probably someone better out there for the part) as Guybrush. But who could be Murray? Geoffrey Rush? And of course Johnny Depp would have to be in it somewhere :)

It doesn't need to be live action, I'd much prefer the cartoon look of Curse to live action anyday. It'd be pretty hard to do Murray as a comical character if they have a realistic (or CGI) looking skull talking.

Hugh grant would be a terrible choice for Guybrush, his bumbling middle english fool routine would be truly painful to watch, it's a comedy role and he'd murder it. Oh man I'd sooner drive hot pokers into my eye sockets than see that.
Johnny Depp is too good looking to feature, it has to be a spoof/ comedy like the video game.
If they made Hugh Grant Guybrush I would have to kill someone.
