Not even a great actor like Ernie Hudson could make this movie good. Horrible plot, with some horrible acting. Especially from Shemar Moore. He shows once again that he can't act if he tried. He should go talk to Don Cornelius and ask him can he get his job back hosting Soul Train. The only positive thing about this movie is the eye candy from Nia Long and Salli Richardson.
I always tell the truth even when I lie Tony Montana (Scarface)
This movie was kind of silly...it was like an updated 30's gangster movie with some really bad acting. Even the usually solid Ernie Hudson was over the top here. The only thing worth catching in this movie was Nia Long.
This movie is horrible, I'm watching it on HBO right now and I understand why I never heard of this movie before. I guess that's why they are showing it at 1:30 in the morning.
Hey wuzzup board, this came on the Encore Suspense Channel just the other nite and nvr heard of it til now, buuuuut i guess it was aiight for what it was n all. I agree with what the OP and Isaac5855 said AND for the eye candy also. I gotta admit, i'll watch basically ANYthing if it's got either or both of 'em in it anyway! I've been a fan of Miss Long since the Fresh Prince dayz and luved Salli Richardson on Eureka.
Now Shemar did kinda suck in this for the most part imo, but given what ricardito-1 posted...well...i'll give him the benefit of the doubt. We need to keep in mind yall that most of the greats were the same way or were nvr heard of til they got their big breaks (and that purty much goes for any profession just about) so...but the others did ok tho i think.
Overall i give it 5/10
Lol i know most of yall won't prolly even go THAT high but eh...oh well. I tend to set the bar high regardless
He did NOT know who he was f--kin' with!!! - Riddick, Pitch Black
I have seen a lot worse. Shemar Moore was on a soap opera for 100 years so this is not his debut. I thought it was Terrence Howard who IMO can't act. But it was exciting and it kept me entertained and that is all I ask a movie do.
