Omg. I wrote this SUPER long message about how they didn't talk about the house, but some facts they did bring up were cool. I didn't know them. But I wrote them all out and I pressed something on my phone and it disappeared. Insert crying emoji.
I've wondered the same but never thought her getting money from the movies...or a lawsuit
She didn't want the movies made, so if they made them anyway without her consent would they still have to pay her?
I don't think other people of true life crimes who have films made unless they are involved in the making of it somehow get money from them.
I assumed the home and property was something her family already had,or her father rented or bought it for her...they obviously were wealthy.
But if it was something they had in their family, the killer could have tracked her down easily..of her father purchased or rented it then someone could have hacked his bank account to see where his money was going,
See, that's what's got me going. It's supposed to be a secret hideout that no one is supposed to find. Unless the dad is a secret spy, all it takes is a search to find any new property. So...then she couldn't register under her name either I suppose.
You only make money if you sell your story/are involved in making it, like you mentioned. Unless you sue for some of the profits, which, you're right. She wouldn't do.
It bugs me they didn't even admit they glossed over it in the commentary. Or what idea they had in mind. But they admit it was a chaotic rush job, so I guess what's to be expected? I still ended up liking it.
Farewell to our message boards! I feel as though I should post all my questions for everything I watch before I have no one to ask. :-( Sad.
Thank you for reminding me about the killer being able to track her! That's such a good point. Maybe it's a place they bought cash and it's in someone else's name. Or the pseudonym she uses while working?
Not that I know of. People talk about Reddit? But it just looks like a mess. I don't understand it. I wouldn't be so mad if we had alternatives, but there's nothing like this. Where you can talk directly to other fans of whatever you're watching?
Prob since the election, it got devisive. ?
If I hear anything in the next 2 weeks, I'll let you know. Would you mind doing the same if you get a chance? I thought about posting something, but Idk under what listing someone would be the most likely to see it in time and also, a group most likely to know it? Because you imagine depending on where you ask, they might have places dedicated for people who like that genre.
I might like Sex and the City, but I don't want to only talk to fans who like it.
I'll look up a couple of cult classics and see the response time as well as the quality of responses on their message boards. I feel like those people are the most dialed in to stuff like that as they're dedicated. Good luck to both of us!
Okay. I think I found someplace. Honestly, I REALLY didn't want to write the info down because it's a link, etc with all the letters and numbers after. But, if you look on the message board of Breaking Bad. It's under something general about 'boards' or something. It's maybe 2nd or 3rd from the top. He included a link. It sends you to the Breaking Bad section of whatever site he is talking about. But it's worth a try. I prob shouldn't have wrote this until I tried it out. Insert thinking emoji.
Thanks. I'll check them out. Maaaaaannn. That was my favorite part of here! I'll miss them dearly as well. I dread the first time I go to post something and it's not there. Insert crying emoji.
If I hear about anything cool...I won't let you know! Insert the emoji that is yelling in vain. I guess everything I can find before Feb 20th, I'll post! Good luck to us both. :-(
