Why was the wolf always acting agressive throughout the movie?

shareI always though of it as a steriotypes (sp?) there are a lot of people who think that wolves and bears are agressive for no reason.
But I agree, the wolf might've been hungry
And I will get him back even as he gloats. In the meantime I'll practice on less honorable throats!
for me, the Wolf has just as much a commanding and powerful presence in The Rugrats Movie as the Shark in Jaws did! great underrated movie villain! not sure if he's in my top 10 though.
