I was kid when I saw this at the cinema and it made me ball my eyes out! I still can't watch this film without crying...

shareI agree, this was a really sad movie . It wasn't as light as the TV show.
I actually purposely haven't rewatched it since 1998 because it depressed me that much as a kid.

Ummm...what was so depressing about it? LOL. I just watched it yesterday and besides kind of feeling bad for Tommy because he was ignored when Dil was born why was it so sad? It had some heartfelt moments, sure but I definitely didn't bawl.

LOL... They're were some sad moments I guess! But it all worked out so nothing to be sad about. I would have been sad if Spike didn't make it.
