Annoying thing about the soundtrack

It doesn't hav the main music in it! you know.... the one where the womans singing. It's the music when they go "shopping."

Haven't seen the movie in a while, but the songs when a "woman" is singing are by the Tiger Lillies, and it's a guy. I think they have three songs in the movie: Hell, Whore, and Sailors. Hell is on Births, Marriages, and Death. Whore is on Ad Nauseam. Sailors is on The Brothel to the Cemetary. Great band.

You are my whore. You are the one I adore. You are the one my twisted heart beats for...

Love that! I havent been able to find any of the Tiger Lillies's (or Lilies) works anywhere (even ebay) and yes, I too was dissapointed when their music was not on the soundtrack, although the soundtrack (score, rather) is AMAZING. Craig Armstrong is a genius

The annoying thing about the music IS the bloody music!
I have nothing prima facia against the music per se but it is just bloody awful in this film and, along with Ms Tyler distorts and disfigures an otherwise meticulous bit of period film making with needless anachronistic clutter. What it needed was some Handel maybe some Purcell. (but except for the catch tunes that's a stretch, I know...).

Nihil curo de ista tua stulta superstitione.
