And right now, with the revival of Match Game and To Tell the Truth, is the perfect time. They need to bring back The Gong Show and Make Me Laugh.

It did come back with Mike Myers a few years back and it failed.

Nah I don't think so. The whacky 1970s games shows are from a different era. It's a different world today, much more uptight. If you watch an episode of "Match Game" or "The Gong SHow" from the 70s, you see how loose everyone is (I think half of them are drunk on "MG"). It's one of the reasons such silly shows actually end up being funny. It wouldn't work in today's world.
