League of Denial (2013)

Wow. The NFL's 'Doctor' Ira Casson is the quintessential shyster. I wonder what other aspects of his medical career were compromised by his lack of ethics or a conscious?

Yeah, agreed. I really enjoyed this episode, it was incredibly interesting (and I'm not a football fan). I wonder if this issue is going to start spreading through other sports that result in head trauma & concussions, like hockey, boxing, etc. It's reasonable to expect that all the people involved in these types of sports could be at risk for CTE, I can imagine them all going through something similar to the NFL.

It's already an issue in hockey. I remember when Eric Lindros was on the "you might have to retire soon" list, and he was in his mid 20s. His younger brother had to quit playing before he did. Boxing...well, it doesn't take a brain surgeon - no pun intended - to know that beating the hell out of someone is dangerous.
