I wish each Frontline episode would have its own board
Separate DVDs, made by different people on a wide range of topics.
It's only natural.

Agreed!
I had not heard of this documentary series until I watched the expose of the wrongdoings inside the Vatican - "Secrets of the Vatican", which I came here to discuss.
It deserves a Messageboard of its own!

When this was screened in the UK recently, they even gave out a helpline number that viewers could call if the were affected by any of the issues raised in the programme.

I agree with the OP sentiment, especially when considering series like Frontline/Nova/etc. They take an in depth look at one issue, and I too came here to read comments/discussion on "Secrets of the Vatican".
I went to the PBS site and here is my problem with it:
1) they required a "social media" login of some sort. Call me old fashioned, but I don't want all my online experiences playing together.
2) they close the "comment section" after a certain period of time. In truth it's not a board, so an ongoing discussion over the years (especially with the advent/proliferation of stream distribution) isn't possible.
3) IMDB is AWESOME and gives a central place to discuss/rate all these movie/show experiences. I'm sure it's a PAIN for IMDB to keep this up, as HULU used to have a similar board style and they just shut it down one day (lame!).
Anyway, I agree, but at least we have this. Perhaps they could implement a "filter" system on the general board so you #tag the show you're discussing in a series like this. I mean Frontline is dated 1983...a board running that long is hard to keep organized! :)
No matter...thanks to Frontline for quality content and IMBD for a great community to discuss it (and yes, I know there are trolls...they just add to the landscape)!
Not enough traffic here to warrant individual boards. Simply starting a thread about each episode would work if (again) there were more traffic. Sad because Frontline is consistently some of the most compelling TV every week.
share This weeks was good. Probaby saved for May sweeps:
