I loved Maya the Bee growing up. I hope they release it on dvd.

I used to run around the living room singing the theme song. That was my favorite show growing up.

It only aired a couple of years on cable in America circa 1990. I used to babysit my niece and she would watch it and I admit I would watch it right with her LOL. Maya the Bee was one of the sweeter, more endearing characters of the era - I would like to see it on DVD, too.

Remember it on RTE or BBC around 1983 1984 can't remember which.The theme song was memorable.

I had no idea the cartoon was already almost 15 years old when it first got to America in the late 80's/early 90's.
