How old is Jim Hawkins really?

Previously I thought Jim Hawkins was 17 years old since it said in Disney Wikia, others say that he is 15 years old which is revealed in one of the deleted scenes and dvd movie guide. I wachthed all the deleted scenes and checked the dvd movie guide, but it's not even mentioned Jim Hawkins is 15 years or how old he was 12 years ago and it's not says in the dvd movie guide.

Well on Disney wiki now it says he's 15, which is close to his age the book treasure island which I think is 14. However I think a lot of people think the same as you that he's 17.
He certainly looks 17 and I think that would make the flashback to when he is younger make sense since he doesn't look like a toddler so it would make a lot more sense him being 17
