I 2nd the repo man recommendation! that movie kicks so much ass.
Go get the documentary "End of the Century". It's an excellent history of The Ramones, but also focuses on many early punk bands and the New York punk scene.
Shhh......don't tell my husband I'm in love with Jason Segel
oh, and I dunno if it would really count, but return of thed living dead is pretty good, too :D
shareCheck out Punk: Attitude (http://imdb.com/title/tt0446765/) and American Hardcore (http://imdb.com/title/tt0419434/), two great documentaries about earlyish punk music.
Anarchist Cookbook might be for you too.

wassup rockers. im not really into the documentaries about music. i rather see the music applied heavily in the lives of people in real life.
Flashback to Tobias, covered in blue paint

shareGodmoney is a movie I recommend! It may not be about Punk, but it is an DIY independent movie that has soul and integrity. It doesn't hurt that a killer soundtrack is included(Pennywise, Guttermouth, Rollins Band). The lead actor, Rick Rodney, was the lead singer in the 90's hardcore band "Strife"
shareIt's not necesarilly about punk, but Out of the Blue has many punk themes and a pretty good scene at a punk show. I love Out of the Blue, not sure if I could recommend it though because it's pretty weird and I've found that opinions on it vary greatly. If you like Blue Velvet then you'll definitely like Out of the Blue and can buy it real cheap at Amazon. Otherwise, I'd suggest renting it.
On the run from Johnny Law...Ain't no trip to Cleveland.
The unique thing about Suburbia is it was done with real punk kids not actors.
