I would never be able to decide on this one...extremely hard question
shareMines probably Six Pack by Black Flag. Might be Straight Edge by Minor Threta htough. Im not sure actually, it is a very hard question.
sharei fought the law and the law won
Take that you freaky peice of *beep*
you don't mow another man's lawn
Where's the NOFX? Linoleum is one of the greatest songs ever written. That'd be my first choice.
Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes by Propagandhi.
Vieques, Puerto Rico/Bikini Revisited by Anti-Flag (wayyyy underrated song)
Sunset on 32nd by Strike Anywhere.
Stab.Stab.Stab. by A Wilhelm Scream.
Velvet Alley AND Firecracker by Strung Out.
If you were to branch out a little, So Strange I Remember You by Thrice. Probably my favorite song of all time.
Awesome selection! It's like you raided my cd collection!
I would have to add..
Gernerator - Bad Religion
Bro Hymn - Pennywise
Gang Control - Leftover Crack
The Rip - A Wilhelm Scream
Where Idols Once stood - Thrice
Chamber the Cartridge - Rise Against
TV Party - Black Flag
Screaming at a Wall - Minor Threat
White man in Hammersmith Palais - The Clash
Ska Wars - Capdown
Hoover Street - Rancid
Here I Am - The Explosion
Oh Bondage Up Yours! - X-Ray Spex
You Can't Drink A Pint Of Bovril..
Punk Rock Song by Bad Religion... but that's hardcore, i think.
So... What We Hate by Screeching Weasel or Automatic by Lagwagon.
Against Me!- You Look Like I Need a Drink
Bad Religion- I Wanna Conquer the World
Black Flag- Rise Above
The Misfits- Astro Zombies
Refused- The Deadly Rythm
Hardcore was started as part of punk. It is perfectly acceptable to call early hardcore bands punk because they were. But Bad Religion isn't hardcore so you're fine.
shareArmy of Zombies by Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards
When She Begins by Social Distortion
And pretty much anything by Operation Ivy
And I wouldn't consider Bad Religion hardcore.

I have heard Bad Religions earlier stuff, and, although it's more hardcore than their later stuff, I still wouldn't consider it all that hardcore. Also, the song he listed, Punk Rock Song, isn't hardcore. Just my opinion, though.
Oh, and, in case you get the vibe from me, no, I don't dislike Bad Religion.
They did start out quite hardcore, but the style that ended up defining them as a band wasn't their hardcore.
shareMy Right - Screeching Weasel
"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room."
Well, as a punk, I'd probably have to go with "American Idiot" by the Green Days. And I for one, am no American idiot (lol, Bush).
PS: I also dig the Green Days' underground stuff like "Wake me up when September Ends".
Well that's it for today my fellow punkers out there in Detroit, gonna go watch VH1, lates.
its funny i got extreemly pissed off my NostalgiaDrag, but then i realized that you were joking, very clever actually :)

um, if you're being serious you've just thrown your punk-ness into question. most of the punks i know are listening to stuff like Leftover Crack, Black Flag, and things like that. green day doesn't completely completely suck, but they're more "pop-punk" than anything. and my 14 year old brother's friends are among those who think american idiot is the greatest album ever.
shareHaha. Very nice. You almost had me going for a second.
shareYou are NOT a punk! You listen to Green Day you conformist!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sharecomplete control - the clash
shareeverything by the dead kennedys
in my eyes-minor threat

big takeover by bad brains ( the orignal black punk band)
Catalina: Are you going to fight for my love?
Carl Johnson: No. I can take rejection.

Wild In The Streets by the Circle Jerks. Pure punk rock. It's got unity, violence, drinking, and all the anti-social overtones you could want.
