Sequel is being made

A sequel is being made, it's called "Punk is not Dead" and will be out in 2012. Exciting!

I think you mean this movie, "Punk's Not Dead" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0350002/), which isn't a sequel and already came out. I looked for sequels, and didn't see anything online except hopeful speculation. Could you link the site where you found out about the sequel you mention?

Meh, this film doesn't need a sequel. What are we going to see? Lillard's character pissing of the judges? Or maybe a complete rehash of the movie with none of the characters that made this movie what it is. I say leave it alone.

How would they do a sequel?? Lillard's 41 now, yelling at kids to get off your yard isn't very punk

There won't be a sequel; this was based on the director's life while living in Salt Lake City; it's somewhat autobiographical in that way. Many of my friends and I were extras in this, and we all attended the Sundance premier where the director explained the movie, the motive and the purpose for it all.

A sequel would be interesting, as it would probably be one of those very odd sequels that don't really have the same feel (Predator2, B&T's BogusJourney, Fright Night2) as the first, and only relates through actual characters/past events. That said, I could see it being great if it DID depart from the original a whole lot.

That said; it ain't happening.

its without the original main protagonist Lillard/stevo
but about Heroin Bobs child, which was raised up by Trish alone
