Tim Roth spectacular as Thade should be incorporated in new franchise

there are not many great things to say about Tim Burton's vision of Planet of The Apes.. However..Tim Roth was absolutely spectacular as General Thade. He was a true bright spot on a otherwise disappointing film... I am not sure what direction the new franchise is going but somewhere along the line some smart studio executive should insist that General Thade reappears at some point of these films.. He played the ape villain with perfection... I would love to see that character incorporated to the new franchise..

Im sorry to break the news to you mobstar1967 but As far as fox is concerned the 2001 film never happened

on the special features for the dvd of "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" they talked a lot about the old films but they Completely ignored the 2001 film as if it never existed.

I like Thade but unfortunately he was in a movie that fox wants nothing
to do with lol

Absolutely
The film was pretty bad on almost all levels
Just a waste to see Tom Roths performance fall by the wayside...
