The blue pill makes no sense

I know, dramatic purposes and all that, but it is just so revealing.

What the heck am I babbling about again? Well, let's look at the whole 'pill' dichotomy.

I never understood or cared for the pill-scene. A strange black man wearing thick skin jacket and sunglasses at night offers me PILLS, and I am supposed to, instead of saying "no, thanks, I don't do drugs", just choose one like I am some kind of conformist people-pleaser? What?

The blue pill makes no sense anyway. WHY would you need a PILL of any color just to 'wake up in your bed and 'believe whatever you want to believe'' (this is a loaded statement, too, because it ASSUMES you 'believe' - what if you don't believe or do drugs, then what? The movie has no answers..)?

I mean, can't you just leave, go, and live your life as you did previously to accomplish EXACTLY that? Why would you need a pill, when if you just go home and do nothing, this will be the same result ANYWAY?

Is it some kind of knockout-pill, and then Morpheus and his gang will drive you to your home, unconscious, which doesn't raise any suspicion in anyone, like the neigbours and what have you, and just break into your apartment and leave you sleeping there? Does it wipe your memory? Does it make you a 'believer' that now 'wants to believe' something that forms their worldview from that believe, no matter how false?

Doesn't anyone see how insane it is to even FORM a worldview based on a belief? If you BELIEVE something, you can't know if it's true or not (if you did, you wouldn't need to believe), so you are basically RANDOMIZING your worldview into something that might be completely wrong and unrealistic.

What kind of truth seeker are you, if you are willing to do THAT?

See, how none of this blue pill stuff makes no sense?

I wish the movie would've SHOWN us what happens to people that take the blue pill, OR people that, you know, REFUSE to take some pill from some stranger. Maybe then we could have a different discussion.

And no, I am not being racist in this post, a bald, buffed, skin-wearing black man that wears glasses at night is UNDENIABLY scarier and more suspicious than some short, skinny, Rick Moranis-lookalike with a nerdy voice and low confidence, wearing sweatpants (just watch Ghostbusters). Black people are better at sports, they're stronger, they basically have better physique, so that's why the race matters in this scenario somewhat.

Please note, I also mentioned other things, as it's not the only thing that matters. Trinity is not as scary, and who could EVER be scared of someone like Joe Pantoliano? (I bet even Tank and Dozer weren't scared even when he killed them) Don't even mention Switch, even with gun pointed at my face, I would not be able to be scared of THAT (was this the right pronoun here..?)

Also, it's not racist to state some obvious fact, like 'black men on the street seem scarier than white women on the street'. Sure, a white woman might stab you while a black guy might just be out to buy chewing gum, but I am talking about how people react in real life emotionally and automatically, and you can't call that racist or change it to something 'politically-correct' - it is what it is. It's not about black people BEING scary, it's about the emotional reaction, it's the impression people can get, like if someone walks on the street with a pitbull, it's automatically scary. You can't change that. Watch some Bill Burr.

What Would Happen To The Matrix If Neo Chose The Blue Pill?

Neo chose the red pill and eventually fulfilled his Path of the One as Morpheus believed he would, but what if Neo had chosen the blue pill instead?
