If humans are no longer born... we are grown, then why do women even exist?

Women and allowing women to even be 'grown' (not born), would be 100% useless for the machines' purposes. Human beings are batteries, so it would be best, if every single body is as identical as possible, for maximum predictability and control. Heck, why even allow limbs to grow normally, instead of using 'selective breeding' to have a 'human race' that are pure torso. Wouldn't limbs just consume energy uselessly?

If human beings are grown, then vaginas are useless, breastmilk is useless, giving birth is useless, uteruses are useless, and eggs are useless.

Or are the machines at the mercy of collecting eggs from female humans so humans can 'be grown'? That sounds very limiting to me, surely the machines have learned to create synthetic eggs, so sperm is the only thing they need to grow human beings, right?

For some reason, none of these important details are explained in the movie, it's kept VERY vague, and they don't go into much detail into the really stupid explanation that would require a lot of backing up for it to be even considered viable. Human beings make lousy batteries, as everyone has pointed out, and I don't think the 'combined with a form of fusion' will make it any more plausible.

Regardless of the 'fusion' part, this whole 'human batteries' explanation defies logic SO hard, the machines would never have built things the way they're shown in the movie, and it raises way too many questions about death, 'virtual birth', reproduction, parents, fat people, limbs, and why are people allowed to have such diverse bodies, how can people that have never seen their real bodies have an accurate 'digital projection of their mental self' (It's said wrong in the movie, the movie version makes no sense)?

Why would they allow women and females in the physical side, when they serve no purpose for anything, and would make worse batteries anyway? There could still be women in the virtual world, because why would it matter what their physical body is like, if their mind is the only thing living in the Matrix?

The Wachowskis aren't known for their ability to use actual science (or scientific logic) in their stories. They're better at symbolism than actually sitting down and cracking open a science book or watching futurist documentaries.

The Matrix has failed in the past. Previous versions. Humanity wouldn't accept it. Do you think people whole believe in a dream/world with all men?

They have sex in the matrix. The batteries don't need to be the same or more powerful.The entire concept is not possible. It's a movie dream.

This is the biggest cop-out of any type in any discussion about a movie.

It adds nothing to the discussion. It makes no arguments or counter points to the original claim. It's a non-sense point of view in that, just because a movie is a work of fiction, doesn't mean that it shouldn't make sense and have some sort of logic or order.

More complex the movie biggets the suspend of disbelief to enjoy it, if you present an argument as complex as a virtual reality create by machines to use us as a form of eenrgy after we lost a war against them after a series of conflict we create and scalate into an open confrontation" of course is going to ahve plot holes and some times thing happen because the movie need them to happen and if not the plot dont advance

All this questions are just stupid is a work of fiction "do you really believe a good movie would have take the time to respond all those question? because that would be the most boring piece of trash full of the most unnatural exposition dialogue, and better yet, are the response of this question necessary or fundamental to enjoy or understand the movie? basically every sci-fi or fantasttic work of fiction is going to have a lot of question without anwser if you dismantle the plot like this post do, and that doesnt make it a bad story.

Or should we also ask why Sauron dint put an army of troll around mount doom? why he extended his hand to grab Isuldur instead of just kill him? God danm it, why he create the ring in the first place? Sauron is a Maiar he's already inmortal as Gandalf but way more powerfull he doesnt need the ring, with the ring he create a way of being destroy, those are bigger question and the anwser is simple he do all those stupid things because the movie need to him to do that, we need things to happen to put the real plot in motion and the writter need to create a reason to things to happen quckly to no drag the runtime to eternity Sauron need to be defeated in order to the real movie start and the hobbits need to conclude their journey to the movie to finish if he doesnt do that we wouldnt have a movie.

How do you know they do? I don't recall seeing the details of the physical bodies in the battery. Maybe they're all male, but they have a female persona in the matrix.
