"You moved like they do. I've never seen anyone move that fast."

Is it just me, or is that the most wooden, poorly delivered line in the movie? It makes me cringe every time I see it.

Wasn't that just part of her Matrix character? She acts with minimal emotions, unlike when she's on the ship or in Zion.

That was her character...

I like it. Saying she delivered it like she was supposed to might be a lame excuse to you, but I do think it was consistent with the way her character spoke in the Matrix.

It's interesting - I think there might have been a deliberate effort into making the humans seem very machinelike, so the machines could be made to seem more 'human'.

People act (no pun intended) as if they have no emotional life whatsoever for the most part, especially in The Matrix. They shoot and kill innocent guards without any emotion, not even anger or fear seem to come up.

Also, the line .. "He's .. a machine", is pretty interesting if you look at things from this perspective.

You are a damn moron.

Reason why Trinity says that is because noone has ever done something like that to dodge bullets.

Not everyone has to be super fast superpeople right away when they were in those goo pods

reply

I thought the delivery of the line was fine, no different from the way Trinity has acted the whole movie. As stated earlier, the wooden acting is deliberate.

It was a good line
