I was really enjoying this right up until the cheesy ending. And then the kids are all great with each other despite the fact that Katie Holmes broke the BFF code when it came to the guy. Really let down by unimaginative ending.

How was the ending "unimaginative"? How would you have the preferred the movie to end?

I get the feeling the original ending should have gone much darker.
