One problem... A possible mistake...

Don't get me wrong, I love this movie, I think it is one of the better "Crow movies" (Still not as good as the original, but still great) but one thing has always bothered me about this movie. Why does the helicopter explode in the big explosion scene. A little bit of fire hits and and it just explodes, it doesn't make sense to me. Or is it some of the powers of the Crow at work?

I'd always figured it was just an incomplete computer-effects shot, and that the intention was that the fire and the force of the explosion was supposed to be much greater, but they simply ran out of time when making the movie. Anyone know why the copter blows up?

come on, a helicopter uses gas, and gas is flammable, so...you guess the rest.Peace!

Yeah, but like, helicopters get worse than that all the time and don't explode, and this one explodes when just a little bit of fire hits it... that ain't right.

I watched this movie with the director's commentary on. He said something like the studio wanted a bigger explosion, and he really saw no need for the helicopter to be there so...BOOM! I think that's why anyway. Its been a while since I saw it with the commentary. I am 90% sure that's the reason why it explodes.

Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate.
