Definately NOT the worst film ever!

I agree. I think its pretty clear this movie was never meant to be taken seriously, so if you can actually just go along for the ride (and LAUGH) at the ridiculous plot twists and acting, rather than roll your eyes at it...you might just enjoy yourself!

People need to take films like this at face value - it isn't made to break box office records, or win Oscars, it is made to entertain, to laugh at/with.

Don't be so hard on this movie, especially when the intentions of all involved are pretty clear.

Any movie that has Sascha Knopf nekkid in it, is just fine as far as I'm concerned.

Quite possibly the most artistic cinema developed in the action-drama genre of the late 20th century. Most people on IMDB know nothing about real cinema or directing movies so they would not understand genius if it crashed into them in a Mac truck.

Also, there is a broadway adaption coming in early 2009. I have my tickets pre-ordered, hope to see you all there!

Definately? Are you trying to say "definitely"? Oh my god, two things. One: you can't gag at American Psycho. Out of the question. Two: I can only see this film on BitTorrent. This is a hilariously bad movie, and I need it watched. Lady, if you don't shut your *beep* mouth, I will kill you.

It's a black comedy/crime movie with kind of an oddball sense of humor. For example the antagonist, a minor crime boss who the protagonists owe money to, uses a walker to get around. It's apparently low budget but is effective and doesn't look real cheap. It has Sascha Knopf, who was effective in He Was a Quiet Man (with Christian Slater and Elisha Cuthbert), and the English guy from Cheers, Roger Rees (Colcord). It's kind of nihilistic, none of the characters are very sympathetic, but it gave me some laughs, I recommend it.
