I have been looking for this movie on DVD in America, including Ebay and Netflix. Does anyone know when it's coming to America? Who makes these decisions? To whom can we write?

I just got my copy today, I got it off ebay. So maybe you can continue to check there for it. I know that it's a hard one to find. Great movie!!!!!!
shareYou have to order it through eBay. There is no DVD of the movie. Strange, but SLoW has a devoted fan base on the Internet. There are always new posts on this Web site, where people post gushing reviews and lively comments on Colin's cuteness and all that.
The only pity is that the writer and director have not made a lot of other movies, so I don't know where to pick up copies of their other work.

Nia & Colin, and that's b/c of the Nia factor. I just root for actresses who are as ... 'height challenged' as me. Sanaa's tall, beautiful, poised -- nothing in common with her.

The beauty of "Something New" versus "The Secret Laughter of Women" is that we get to see the love between Kenya and Bryan develop. The scene where he makes love to her. You get to experience the building of a relationship between them. Where as back when SLoW was made they left the majority of Nimi and Matthew's relationship on the cutting room floor.
Colin Firth has a way of making a woman long to fall in love over and over. Matthew and Nimi made you believe that love could conquer all. That when something was meant to be that there was nothing in this world that could stop it. They made you believe in "second" chances.
If I were to rate these two movies as number 1 or 2. SLoW would be rated #1 and SN would definitely come in as #2.
Hope you get to get your own copy. I have 2 that I purchased from ebay. Good Luck on finding a copy.
