Dorothy vs. Valentine

I realize that Dorothy and Valentine are "composites" of the actual girls that Homer knew but, personally if I was lucky enough to have a choice between Dorothy and Valentine, Valentine would be my choice hands down! Dorothy is extremely superficial and shallow, all she cares about is dating someone who is a jock or at the very least extremely popular. Valentine, on the other hand seems very sincere and sweet. She liked Homer simply for who he was as a person not for his accomplishments or popularity. She liked him long before he became successful with his rockets but Homer seemed to be completely blind to her and ignored her friendly greetings. (In the school cafeteria she smiles and greets Homer warmly as Homer is on his way to talk to Quentin but Homer pretty much ignores her which obviously hurts her feelings. (Dumb Homer, Dumb)! He's awfully slow in coming around to it but Homer does seem to finally realize towards the end of the movie what a great girl and a great human being Valentine is. In addition to all of this, I think Valentine is prettier than Dorothy anyway!
