Wikipedia and imdb state that the director of this movie was David Decoteau, the director of the third puppet master movie. I got the midnight horror collection dvd set containing the 4th, 5th, and 6th movies. The director of Curse Of The Puppet Master is credited to Victoria Sloan on the dvd box, and it says directed by Victoria Sloan in the opening credits of this movie. So what's the deal? Was Victoria Sloan an alias he used because he was ashamed how this movie turned out?

I'm not sure why he used it. Dave also directed RETRO under an alias. TOULON'S REVENGE and AXIS OF EVIL are the only two he directed under his real name. I sure hope he wasn't shamed. CURSE and RETRO aren't great, but they're both better than AXIS OF EVIL.
