Wow such hate for this movie out there

I actually enjoyed this movie I remember watching it years ago and liking it as a kid and now i just re-watched it and to me at least it still holds up. Dare I say its better and ugh Days Of Thunder? Yes it is. Better cast, better story, better music, and better action scenes. Sure this movie can be pretty un-realistic but ITS A MOVIE! you are supposed to suspend your disbelief because movies are made to entertain you. This movie def entertained me and I don't care much for racing flicks. I like Renny Harlin his style is visually great. I love the cast Burt Reynolds is good as usual, Til Schweiger is a great *beep* Kip Pardue for the most part is good (better actor than Hyaden Christenson that's for sure) and Gina Gershon plays a great b itch as she always does. And of course the big star himself Stallone is always awesome and this is no exception. I'm sure I'm going to get destroyed by all the haters but ahhhh I gotta stand up and voice my opinion. I give it 3/5 on my scale
