Solid cast, but...

This film has been saturating SHOWTIME this month so I did finally get to see it from beginning to end. It does boast a solid cast (including the late Christopher Penn in a standout performance) but the film is rather slow and talky and the plot, such as it is, smacks of "been there done that."
