Will this film ever be on DVD?

I really don't know. I hope though. I've been looking for a few months now, just to see if it has came out. I'll let you know if I do ever find it.

Well thanks a lot! I'd really appreciate that. By the way, have you checked out this films website? Being a native New Yorker, I enjoyed growing up watching baseball great Joe DiMaggio. When I had heard that he was part of this film, I really wanted to see it even more. With legends like him, Mickey Rooney, Julie Harris and Charles Nelson Reilly, what more can one ask for (LOL)?

Oh, yeah, I have! I was really hoping it would have a trailer or something, but it did have some interesting info, and some nice little pictures, and such. Hopefully it will get updated very soon with something like "DVD INFO", that would make me really happy!

I love Mickey Rooney! I watch 'Andy Hardy' all the time with my mom, haha. My friends think i'm weird, but he is so enjoyable to watch.

This movie seems like the best. I really hope they hurry up with the DVD, I'd love to see it!

Go to firstofmay.com and e-mail them. You might still be able to order a DVD directly from them. It's an "unofficial" release, but it's still cool.

I hope it comes out on DVD. I have to say this was one of my most favorite movies. Great clean family movie, ya know the whole running away and joining the circus thang ....really kool!!! I love it they need to come out with it on DVD with behind the scene extras ...that would be great!!!!! Somebody email me and let me know if yall see it anywhere ....Thanks!!

I have great news everyone! The First of May is finally getting an official DVD release! The release date for the DVD is May 6th and it will be available through Amazon.com as well as several other online stores and I believe is getting a WalMart release as well. It will also contain a 20 minute featurette called Joe DiMaggio: A True American Hero. and possibly a Theatrical Trailer.
