US release--censored?

Hi all, not sure if anyone actually comes to this board, but I have a question:

I've just purchased a used VHS copy of "The Little Fox", and the back of the slipcase says: "This film has been edited through authority of Celebrity Home Entertainment to make it suitable for distribution by Feature Films for Families." This statement makes it sound like the film is censored or cut; indeed, the runtime is given as 65 minutes on the slipcase, but the main page for the original "Vuk" says it is 76 minutes. That's more than 10 minutes of footage short!

Can anyone tell me what was cut out for this US release? Was it censored for violence, or something else? Any insights would be appreciated!

On another note, I really would like to see the original Hungarian version with English subtitles, but I don't think such a thing exists. It's really too bad. =(

There's peeing dogs, bleeding ducks, dead animals (with open eyes!), visible buttholes, the english subs I had even contained some bad words, but sheesh it's still totally suitable for children. I was raised on stuff like this, not braindead "21th century kid-friendly" stuff.

Get the version that DOESN'T say "new edited version" on the front. The running time should say 79 minutes (it's 76 minutes in PAL - the actual theatrical running time was 79 minutes). It's uncut.

The part which made me cringe most is how the 65-minute version sanitized Karak's death. A completely different VA replaces Karak's dying speech with some crap about how "I'll be all right."
